Gwyneth Jane Coleman, 86, of Oxford, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019 at Oxford Health and Rehab Center. A graveside service was held Oct. 25 in Sharon Cemetery, rural Wilton, Iowa. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.bentleyfuneralhome.com
Gwyneth was born in Muscatine, Iowa on Jan. 30, 1933, the daughter of Daniel and Margaret Lucille (Frymoyer) Davies. Gwyneth married Neil Coleman. After their marriage, they made Oxford, Mississippi their home. Neil died on July 9, 1994.
Gwyneth attended Mount Vernon High School, graduating with the class of 1950. She later attended Cornell College, where she earned her associate’s degree. She was a librarian for Oxford Public Library for more than 25 years. In her spare time, Gwyneth enjoyed reading and spending time with her cats.
Gwyneth is survived by one brother, Rod (Margery) Davies of Amana, Iowa, formerly of Mount Vernon; and two nephews.
Gwyneth is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Neil.
