Edward “Pineapple” Siarot, 77, of Davenport died on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020 at Davenport Good Samaritan Society. Cremation rites have been accorded. Condolences may be left at www.bentleyfuneralhome.com.
Edward was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on Dec. 5, 1942, the son of Olympio and Epifania (Ababa) Siarot. He served his country in the United States Army. Edward graduated from Vallejo High School in Vallejo, California, with the class of 1961. Edward married Elizabeth Doolittle on June 8, 2002 in Walcott.
Edward worked in the tourism industry on his native Hawaii, before coming to the mainland in the 1980s. He then began driving truck for several trucking companies. He retired from Gordon Sevig Trucking Company in 2010. Before he became sick, he enjoyed golfing and bowling. Edward enjoyed watching any western movie or T.V. show.
Edward is survived by his wife Elizabeth; six children, Angelina Siarot, Edward (Asako) Siarot, Margaret (Efron Garcia) Headricks, Edwin (Michael Flowers) Siarot, Shannon Siarot, and Sue Ann Janson; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert (Jean) Siarot.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter-in-law, Jacoby Siarot.
