Dwight A. Turkle, 75, of Bettendorf died Dec. 23, 2019, at Manor Care Health Services in Davenport.
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory in Moline. Private burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at CremationQC.com.
Dwight was born Feb. 22, 1944, in Iowa City to William and Bertha (Kruse) Turkle. He graduated from Durant High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his daughter, Chaundra Fulrath; siblings, Bonnie Frett of Bennett, Marlene (Rudy) Arp of Walcott, Ruth Turkle of Davenport, and Merle Turkle of Bryant. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Wayne and Marion Turkle.
