Darlene E. (Otto) Wulf, 77, of Abingdon, Illinois, formerly of Durant, died July 29, 2020 at Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, Illinois.

Visitation was Aug. 1, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Abingdon Chapel. Additional visitation was Aug. 3, at Bentley Funeral Home in Durant. Funeral service followed the visitation on Aug. 3, at Bentley Funeral Home in Durant. Burial will be in the Durant Cemetery.

Darlene was born in Davenport on Sept. 17, 1942, daughter of Allen and Gertrude (Bangert) Otto. Darlene married Marvin R. Wulf on Feb. 22, 1969 in Davenport. Together, they moved to Abingdon in 1983.

Darlene was a homemaker, who worked on the family dairy farm, alongside her husband. She loved animals, especially her dogs. She was a 4-H leader for more than 25 years. She enjoyed the small things, including cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, and other crafts. She loved polka dancing, and going to fairs with her loved ones. She cherished attending her grandchildren’s concerts and grandparents’ days.

Darlene is survived by her husband Marvin and daughters, Charlene (Mike) Lannholm, Galesburg Illinois, Marlene (Mark) Watt, Abingdon Illinois, Eileen (Steve) Tjaden, Trivoli Illinois, and Jolene (Joe) Faler, Prairie City Illinois; her son, Eugene (Lindsay) Wulf, Abingdon Illinois; her sisters, Phyllis (Arlo) Krebs, Durant, and Bernice Koberg, Walcott; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Kathleen, brother and sister-in-law, Allen (Karen) Otto; and brother-in-law, Kenny Koberg.
