Beth A. Sandersfeld, 64, of Mt. Pleasant died on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at her home. Funeral services were held on July 18 at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with Rev. Earl Swigart officiating. Burial will be in the Salem East Cemetery.

Beth was born on May 24, 1956, in Muscatine, the daughter of Ellwyn and Bernice (Beinke) Cole. She was united in marriage to C. Arlo Sandersfeld on June 21, 1975, in Wilton. He preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 2020.
Beth worked for Mt. Pleasant Community Schools and the Salem Elementary School for more than 30 years. She was very active in the Salem Little League. Beth enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Kevin (Jessie) Sandersfeld of Mt. Pleasant, Cary Sandersfeld of Ocheyden, Brian Sandersfeld of Spirit Lake and Denise Seivert of Hartley; her grandchildren, Asa, Brooke, Ashlee, Ethan, Blake, Justyn, Madison, Jayden and Jordyn; her sister, Saundra Cole of Wilton, along with special family members, Scott and Karen Holmes, Eric and Kyle, Jake and Steph Maine, Kaedon, Kalen, Krue and Kinnick, Karen Beatty and Randy Cole.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son Brett Michael Sandersfeld, and two brothers, Stan Cole and Bill Cole.
