November events at the Wilton Public Library

Posted

During the month of November, the Wilton Public Library will be hosting some very special events.

“Bad Art” night will be held Nov. 8 from 6 to 7 p.m. It’s a night where skills can be left at the door, and the worst art imaginable will be the best.

There will also be a Gnomevember Reading Challenge for all ages. Read 10 books in November, and receive a prize, play the “Game of Gnomes” for a chance to win a magical gnome jewel, and go on a Gnome Hunt in our reading garden. On Saturday, Nov. 13, make upcycled No-Sew Gnomes. (Please stop by or call 732-2583 to register for our “Upcycle Gnome” event)

Come to the library Thursday, Nov. 18 at 3:30 p.m. when Michelle Berns, from the County Conservation Learning Center, will be present to “Talk Turkey” with the audience.

Note: On Nov. 11, the Wilton Public Library will be CLOSED in honor of Veterans Day.
