A public “meet and greet” event will be held in Wilton with state Senator Mark Lofgren of Muscatine. Lofgren will serve the newly drawn Senate District 48, which now includes the city of Wilton and portions of Durant.
The event will be held Thursday, Dec. 30 from 4-6 p.m. in downtown Wilton at 117 W. Fourth Street. The venue is owned by Muscatine County Republican Chair Fred Grunder.
Light appetizers and cocktails will be provided.
