Durant High School held a parade for graduating seniors May 17, the date that commencement would have been held for the class of 2020. Schools have been closed since mid March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A traditional graduation ceremony was rescheduled for July 12. A parade of cars took place last Sunday, including the 40 seniors, in their own vehicles in order to practice social distancing. A video of the parade is available at the Advocate News Facebook page.
