Students named to

U. of Iowa Dean’s List

More than 7,000 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the dean’s list for the 2021 spring semester. Undergraduate students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Education, the College of Engineering, the Tippie College of Business, and University College who achieve a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher on nine semester hours (spring 2021) or more of UI graded coursework during a given semester or summer session and who have no semester hours of “I” (incomplete) or “O” (no grade reported) during the same semester are recognized by inclusion on the dean’s list for that semester.

Undergraduate students in the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine with fewer than nine semester hours (spring 2021) of graded credit, if deemed appropriate by the college.

College of Nursing students participating in clinical courses who have a total of nine semester hours of earned credit (spring 2021), with eight semester hours of graded credit with a GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Students named to

U. of Iowa President’s List

More than 1,000 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the President’s List for the 2021 spring semester.

In order to be included on the list, a student must have a minimum 4.0 grade-point average (4.0 is an “A”) in all academic subjects for the fall 2020 semester, and a minimum of nine graded hours with a 4.0 grade-point average (4.0 is an “A”) in all academic subjects for the spring 2021 semester.

Area students on the President’s List include: Noah Brown of Wilton, Electrical Engineering; Jerome Mays of Wilton, Finance.

Buena Vista Dean’s List

Buena Vista University congratulates more than 500 students who were named to the Spring 2021 Dean’s List. The Dean’s List recognizes full-time students achieving a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the semester.

Guyer named to

Wartburg Dean’s List

Audrey Guyer of Wilton was named to the Wartburg College Winter/May Term Dean’s List. The college recognized 494 students for the Winter/May Term.

The list honors students who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above in at least five course credits during the terms. Four of the five course credits have to be graded with a traditional letter grade.

Dawson Frett named

to Waldorf Dean’s List

Waldorf University in Forest City announced its Dean’s List for Spring 2020-2021 semester. To achieve the Dean’s List, students must be full time, attain a grade point average of 3.5 or better, and complete a minimum of 12 semester credits.

Dawson Frett of Durant was named to the Dean’s list. He is majoring in Criminal Justice.

Drake named to Central

College Dean’s List

Emerson Drake, a Central College student from Wilton, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2021 semester.

The honor is awarded to full-time students who achieve a 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale while taking 12 or more graded credit hours for the semester.

Christy given High Honors

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,270 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.9 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight “A”) are given the highest honors designation. High honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89 and honor recognition is accorded to those with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74.

Trinity Christy, a sophomore from Muscatine, was recognized as High Honors.
