Snyder graduates
from Wisconsin-Madison
Nearly 8,500 students received degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison during a unique online commencement ceremony on May 9.
To ease the sting of the last few months, the Wisconsin Union announced it would provide all graduates with lifetime memberships — a first in the association’s more than 110-year history. Additionally, the Wisconsin Alumni Association is giving graduates two free years of membership.
Amber Snyder of Wilton graduated with distinction from the School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science-Nursing.
Simpson graduates
from Simpson College
Simpson College in Indianola conferred 222 degrees at the conclusion of the Spring 2020 semester. The annual commencement ceremony was postponed due to COVID-19 and is scheduled to take place this fall.
Allyson Simpson of Atalissa graduated Magna Cum Laude with bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Liberal Arts.
