Senior dining at Gloria Dei
Normally meeting at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Durant each Thursday, senior dining meals will now only be pick-up or delivery due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 60 meals were delivered to homes in the last four weeks.
Senior dining is for everyone 60 years or older and to their spouse regardless of his/her age. It is available to anyone, without regard to income, race, color, sex or national origin. Senior dining is a benefit for senior citizens, the United States’ way of saying that you are important to the nation.

June Thursdays menu:
June 4 — Roast turkey, sweet potatoes, escalloped corn, cinnamon apple sauce, ice cream cup, milk, bread.
June 11 — Beef sirloin steak, cheesy potatoes, roasted butternut squash, tropical fruit salad, cookie, milk, dinner roll.
June 18 — Roast pork/gravy, sweet potatoes, stewed tomatoes, bananas and peaches, applesauce cake, milk.
June 25 — Meatloaf, party potatoes, Brussels sprouts, tropical fruit, vanilla pudding, milk.
