Marvin and Karol Beatty of Muscatine recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Tennessee.
They were married on July 11, 1970 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Manchester, Iowa.
Marvin retired from GPC and farming. Karol is retired from the Stanley Foundation. In their retirement they enjoy playing cards, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
They are the parents of Doug Beatty of Kansas City, Missouri; Brenda (Brandon) Thornton of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; Susan (Jeff) Rollinger of Shellsburg; and Roger (Katie) Beatty of Lisbon. They have nine grandchildren.
