The River Valley Conference (RVC) recently released All-Conference teams for both baseball and softball. Durant and Wilton had nine collective baseball, and 12 total softball players named to all-conference teams.

The Durant baseball team found success at the end of the regular season, getting hot at the right time and riding momentum all the way to the Class 2A state tournament, where the Wildcats were defeated in the final inning 2-1 by North Linn. The Cats finished the season 12-5.

The Wilton baseball team fielded fresh faces in every position in 2020. The Beavers found themselves in tight ball games throughout the summer, finishing with a record of 5-8-1.

The Wilton softball team spent much of the season ranked inside the top 15 in Class 2A. The Beavers finished one game from state, losing to perennial power Louisa-Muscatine in a Regional final to finish with a record of 14-4.

After losing a crop of battle-tested seniors, the Durant softball team came off two straight seasons ranked either No. 1 or 2 all season to finish 10-5 under new head coach and former Wildcat Aubrey Bland.
