2020 Muscatine County candidate forums

The League of Women Voters of Muscatine County, in collaboration with Media Tree and Musser Public Library, is sponsoring forums to inform voters about upcoming elections. The public is invited to watch the live broadcast via the local public access channels 5 & 9 as well as Facebook Live and YouTube. Recordings will be made available after the forum has concluded.

Candidates will speak on issues and answer audience questions submitted virtually in real-time during the forum as well as submitted in writing ahead of time to the Forum Committee at 2584 Canterbury Road or to (563) 260-1203.

LIVE broadcast at 10:30 a.m. County Auditor candidates Brandy Harfst and Tibe Vander Linden; noon County Attorney candidates James Barry and William Tharp; 1 p.m. County Sheriff candidates Michael Channon and Quinn Reiss.

Saturday, Aug. 1

LIVE broadcast at 10:30 a.m. County Board of Supervisors candidates Edward Askew and Scott Sauer, District #3; Nathan Mather and Michelle Servadio Elias, District #4.

Saturday, Aug. 22

LIVE broadcast at 10:30 a.m. State Senate candidates Tom Courtney and Tim Goodwin, District #44; Chris Brase and Mark Lofgren, District #46.

Saturday, Sept. 12

LIVE broadcast at 10:30 a.m. State Representative candidates Bobby Kaufmann and Lonny Pulkrabek, District #73; Sandy Dockendorff and David Kerr, District #88; Kelcey Brackett and Mark Cisneros, District #91.
