Why I am a friend of the Wapsi

I have always been drawn to places “off the beaten path.” The Wapsi River Environmental Center certainly fits that definition. While other parks in Scott County are located within proximity to major roads, the way to the Wapsi Center takes you on winding roads through communities such as Maysville, Donahue, and Dixon.
