Jan and Florene Veldhuis-Kroeze of Eldridge will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 11. A celebration will be held at a later date.
Florene Hobaugh and Jan Veldhuis-Kroeze were married Nov. 11, 1960, at Junction City (Kan.) Evangelical and Reformed Church.
Mr. Veldhuis-Kroeze was employed by the Department of Defense, retiring in 1994. Mrs. Veldhuis-Kroeze was employed in banking, retiring in 1992.
They are the parents of Sharon (Gary) Dembicki of Davenport, and John Veldhuis-Kroeze of Apple Valley, Minn.
Their grandchildren are Kale Veldhuis-Kroeze, Celia Veldhuis-Kroeze, Luke Veldhuis-Kroeze, and William Dembicki.
