Trump way ahead in ongoing North Scott High School mock election

Four hundred North Scott High School students participating in a mock election today and Monday would return President Donald Trump to the White House.

Trump had received twice the votes of Joe Biden through 10 a.m. Tuesday.

National Honor Society members conducted the mock election open to all high school students.

Here are results with 406 of the high school’s approximately 1,000 voting:

President

  • Donald Trump - 62.3% - 254 votes
  • Joe Biden - 25.1% - 102 votes
  • Kanye West - 9.9% - 40 votes

U.S. Senate

  • Joni Ernst - 65.6% - 261 votes
  • Theresa Greenfield - 27.9% - 111 votes

U.S. House District 2

  • Marionette Miller-Meeks - 61.9% - 242 votes
  • Rita Hart - 35.5% - 139 votes

The Honor Society students set up a web page that limited participants to a single vote. The society set up a voting table in the high school lobby and participating students scanned a Q-code to access the site.
