Four hundred North Scott High School students participating in a mock election today and Monday would return President Donald Trump to the White House.
Trump had received twice the votes of Joe Biden through 10 a.m. Tuesday.
National Honor Society members conducted the mock election open to all high school students.
Here are results with 406 of the high school’s approximately 1,000 voting:
President
Donald Trump - 62.3% - 254 votes
Joe Biden - 25.1% - 102 votes
Kanye West - 9.9% - 40 votes
U.S. Senate
Joni Ernst - 65.6% - 261 votes
Theresa Greenfield - 27.9% - 111 votes
U.S. House District 2
Marionette Miller-Meeks - 61.9% - 242 votes
Rita Hart - 35.5% - 139 votes
The Honor Society students set up a web page that limited participants to a single vote. The society set up a voting table in the high school lobby and participating students scanned a Q-code to access the site.
