Test Iowa opens Q-C site at Northpark Mall until May 22

Iowa’s online Test Iowa assessment established a drive-up testing center open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mondays through Friday at Northpark Mall, 320 W. Kimberly Road, Davenport.

Testing is offered through May 22 for Iowans who complete an online assessment at testiowa.com. The online assessment screens Iowans for further, on-site testing, under a $26-million contract signed by Gov. Kim Reynolds last month.

The Iowa Department of Public Health reports 340,000 completed online assessments as of Monday, including 10,500 from Scott County. The state health department has not disclosed how many of those were actually referred to a site.

The health department has disclosed 12,373 positives among 77,792 in-person screenings by public and private testing. The state reports 271 deaths, including eight in Scott County.

On May 10, the state health department reported 394 patients being treated in Iowa hospitals for the virus, including  four in Scott County.

Polk, Blackhawk and Woodbury counties lead the state in number of infections.

Louisa County reported the highest density of  cases, 2,552 per 100,000 residents.
