Democrat's challenger resigns after 2022 election loss

Supervisors hired Ted Breckenfelder as a senior assistant county attorney for $109,699 per year, with two weeks’ vacation. Breckenfelder is a private practice attorney in Bettendorf who replaces Caleb Copley.
