Karl and Mary Staerk of Park View will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at their favorite restaurant.
Mary Ellen Feyen and Karl Staerk were married Oct. 2, 1971, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Davenport.
Mr. Staerk is retired from Roemer Machine Co. Mrs. Staerk is retired from Davenport Schools.
They are the parents of Elizabeth and Russ Richards of Park View; Monika/Michelle and Chris Spencer of Bettendorf; and Ellen and Andy Weishaar of Geneseo, Ill.
Their grandchildren are Catherine Spencer, Brett Spencer, Connor Richards, Isabella Richards, Alexis Richards, Olivia Richards, Aiden Weishaar and Averi Weishaar.
