More than 100 Eldridge police, Scott County deputies state troopers and others joined the McKearney family Nov. 19 at the Eldridge community center to grant 4-year-old Hudson's wish of becoming a police officer. Officers first rallied for Hudson when he came home from University Hospitals for acute lymphoblastic leukemia, B-cell type, in March 2019. His family reports he is in remission.
