Stephen R. Quinn, 77, of Durant, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at his home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13 (today), from 9 a.m. to until the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wilton.
Burial will take place in the Durant Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Durant Ambulance or St. Mary Catholic Church Building Fund.

Steve was born in Davenport on Jan. 6, 1945, to Raymond and Hazel (Doellinger) Quinn.
He graduated from North Scott High School and attended the University of Iowa.
Steve married Susan C. Willers on Jan. 23, 1965, in Davenport. She preceded him in death on Dec. 1, 2017. Steve and Sue farmed in Muscatine, Cedar and Scott counties.
He was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Farming was his life. He and Sue enjoyed traveling. Steve was a cigar and Jack Daniels aficionado. Above all, he loved his family and spending time with them.
Steve is survived and lovingly remembered by his children: Michelle Quinn (Larry Winkelman) of Maquoketa, Jeff (Angie) Quinn of Durant, Colleen (Jason) Moyer of Bend, Ore., and Carolyn (Randy) Tomkins of Dubuque; seven grandchildren: Tony (Stephanie), Stephen, Sarah (Zac), Shelby, Makenzie, Mallory and Quinn; brothers: Dan (Sue) Quinn, Tim (Marcy) Quinn and Pat Quinn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and sister Mickey Styles.
