Ruby Dean Bowker, 80, passed away Aug. 31, 2022, in Davenport. Ruby was born Jan. 14, 1942, to Jeff and Clistie (Williams) Collins in Aliceville, Ala. Ruby was married to Charles Edward Lowe Feb. 16, 1958, and they adopted a son, Mark. They were later divorced. Ruby worked for Ruhl & Ruhl Realty while in Iowa and eventually moved to Florida to be near her sister. While in Florida, she was married to Charles Bowker. She worked as an aide for a nursing home during that time. Ruby enjoyed tennis, visiting with and going to eat with friends and family. She always kept herself busy and on the go.
Ruby is survived by her son, Mark (Deb) Lowe of Eldridge; grandchildren Tara, Jacob and Madelynn; sister, Jettie Williams of Florida and brother, Robert Collins of Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents and spouse, Charles Bowker.
