A private family funeral service will be held in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date for Rick Arthur Seibel, 71, of Des Moines. Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Seibel died Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Pearl Valley Nursing and Rehab Center.
Rick Seibel was born Dec. 27, 1948, in Davenport, the son of Ralph and Juanita (Paustian) Seibel. He graduated from Durant High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
He worked as an over-the-road truck driver.
He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed going to the Cordova Drag Races.
Survivors include his sisters, Donna (Roland) Paper, New Liberty, and Connie (Ed) Voss, Durant; a brother, Ron (Jane) Seibel, Blue Grass; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Susan; his nieces, Kelly and JoDee Seibel; and his nephews, Terry Kook and Dan Voss.
Memorials may be made to the Rick Seibel Memorial Fund.
