A funeral service for Phyllis C. Hamann, 98, of Davenport, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at Faith Lutheran Church, Eldridge. Burial will be held in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 19, from 4:30-7 p.m. at the church. Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Hamann died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, at Good Samaritan Society.
Phyllis Sierk was born Jan. 18, 1923, in rural Scott County, the daughter of Henry and Camilla Sierk.
She married Calvin “Cal” Hamann on Jan. 21, 1948.
Survivors include her children, Marilyn Hamann, Donna Darnall, Lee (Jennifer) Hamann, and Gwen (Doug) Coobs; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
