Michael Norman Mohr, 68, of Eldridge, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, unexpectedly while working. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 20, at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Eldridge. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, at the Runge Mortuary. There will be a private burial, where he will be laid to rest at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in his name to Cornerstone Baptist Church or to the family. He was born on July 25, 1953, to Norman and Inez (Roehlk) Mohr in Davenport. He graduated from North Scott High School in 1971 and went on to attend St. Ambrose University. He was united in marriage to Kristina Griggs on Feb. 2, 1991, in Eldridge.

Out of high school, he worked for Wayne Ernst as a well driller, then White Roofing, and for the last eight-nine years self-employed cleaning gutters, residential snow removal, and roof repairs. He had built up a clientele that he loved taking care of as he often went the extra mile to ensure they knew they mattered.

He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church and the QWC Rugby Club. He loved the Cubs, Hawkeyes, to play and watch sports, but most of all he loved his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Kristina Mohr; sons, Jon (Rachel) and Joey; sisters, Linda (Raymond) Dykstra and Diane (Bob) Oster; brothers, Brian (Tiffin) Mohr and Gregg Mohr; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Susan Griggs, Rhonda Griggs, Jerrie and Jill Griggs, Kelley and Jeff Haycraft, Kathy Griggs; mother and father-in-law, Karen and Larry Breeding; 22 nieces and nephews; 33 great nieces and nephews, and two great-great nieces.
