A celebration of life service for Methel J. Neff, 85, of Davenport, will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Neff died Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Methel Bonney was born Sept. 9, 1934, in Rock Island, the daughter of Theola (Brown) and Everett Bonney Sr.
She married Robert Neff on March 13, 1957, in Davenport.
In her earlier years, she was employed by Turnstyle and KMart.
Survivors include her husband; her children, Charles (Pam) Merriman, Steve (Sandy) Merriman, Ron (Deb) Merriman, Bob (Tammy) Neff, Brad (Deb) Neff, and Doug Neff; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Edwina, Mary and Donna; and her brothers, Elmer, Paul and Everett Jr.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Misner, Barb Hoffman and Loretta Brooks; and a brother, Kenneth Bonney.
