A funeral service for Karon C. Bruns, 71, of Davenport, was held at noon on Monday, June 15, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Visitation was Sunday, June 14, from 4-7 p.m. at the mortuary.
Mrs. Bruns died Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
Karon Latham was born June 23, 1948, in Davenport, the daughter of Vernon and Amanda (Struck) Latham.
She married John Bruns on April 30, 1977, in Davenport.
She retired from Genesis West Medical Center after many years of service.
Her hobbies were collecting statuary, occasionally gambling, and planting her flower garden.
Survivors include her husband; her sons, Jim and Bill Bruns; a sister, Janet Kraklio; and a brother, Albert Latham.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Koert; and her brothers, Vernon “Sonny” and Henry Latham.
