A funeral service for Joyce E. Cornmesser, 77, of Bettendorf, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 24, at the Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge. Visitation will be Thursday, July 23, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Private family burial will be in the Bagley (Wis.) Cemetery.
Mrs. Cornmesser died Friday, July 17, 2020, at her home.
Joyce Hess was born Jan. 14, 1943, in Moline, the daughter of Herman and Mildred (Sheese) Hess.
She married Roger Cornmesser on Sept. 14, 1963, in Moline. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters, Joy (Jeffery) Whitmer, Eldridge, and Judy (Scott) Hoag, DeWitt; her son, Steve (Bonnie) Cornmesser, Eldridge; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
