A private family committal service was held at Rock Island National Cemetery for John H. Gillaspie Jr., 88, of Davenport. Cremation rites were accorded. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Gillaspie died Saturday, July 25, 2020.
John Gillaspie was born Nov. 13, 1931, in Mystic, Iowa, the son of John and Jessie Gillaspie.
He married Barbara Wakeland in August of 1954 in Millersburg, Ill.
Survivors include his wife.
