A celebration of life service for Joan E. Perkins, 86, of Davenport, will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded, and burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Perkins died Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, at Bickford of Davenport.
Joan DeVriendt was born May 6, 1934, in Davenport, the daughter of George and Ellen (Kennedy) DeVriendt.
She married James Perkins on Sept. 6, 1969, in Rock Island.
Survivors include her children, Jodee (Chris) Toalson, Bettendorf, Julie (Steve) Watkins, Denton, Texas, Scot (Lisa) Wilkins, Bettendorf, and Jason (Shannon) Perkins, Davenport; a daughter-in-law, Sue Tubbs; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Carol Hartvigsen; and a brother, Gene Lucht.
Memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society.
