A funeral service for Ione Rawson, 85, of Davenport, was held at noon on Saturday, Sept. 12, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Visitation was two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the mortuary. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park.
Mrs. Rawson died Friday, Aug. 28, 2020, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Ione Christianson was born Nov. 25, 1934, in Davenport, the daughter of Adolf and Merle (Castle) Christianson. She married Keith Rawson on Sept. 29, 1950.
Survivors include her children, Keith Rawson, Sherri Miller, Dawn (Fred) Higgins, and Brian (Sherry) Rawson; eight grandchildren. 11 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Jim Elliott.
