A funeral service and Mass of Christian Burial for Gerald “Jerry” Gerardy, 55, of Greeley, Colo., was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial was in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Long Grove. Visitation was Friday, March 25, from 4-7 p.m. at the church, with additional visitation one hour prior to Mass on Saturday at the church. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Gerardy died Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport.
Gerald Gerardy was born July 30, 1966, in Maquoketa, the son of John and Rosina (Banowetz) Gerardy.
Survivors include his children, Elise, Brent and Christina; his stepchildren, Demitrius, Anthony and Leticia; six grandchildren; his parents, John and Rosina Gerardy; and his siblings, Brenda Walsh, Diana (Jack) Grabeel, Glen (Kim) Gerardy, Daryl (Melissa) Gerardy, Sherry (Erick) Jessen, Darrin (Amy) Gerardy, Sheila Gerardy, and Ryan (Amanda) Gerardy.
