A funeral service for Gary Lee Shipley, 64, of Cedar Rapids, was held in Iowa City, with burial in Cedar Rapids Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Gay & Chia Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Shipley died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his mother, Rilla of Iowa City; a daughter, Kelli (Logan) West, Durant; sons Jonathan (Elisabeth), Iowa City, and James, Cedar Rapids; three granddaughters; a sister, Mary (Bruce) Vrchoticky, Iowa City; and a brother, Larry (Deb), Iowa City.
