A funeral service for Emmy Lou Dexter, 81, of Princeton, was held at noon on Tuesday, April 13, at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation was two hours prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial followed in Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Princeton.
Mrs. Dexter died Friday, April 9, 2021, at the Kahl Home, Davenport.
Emmy Peters was born April 23, 1939, in Eldridge, the daughter of Edwin and Emma (Stoltenberg) Peters.
She married Bruce Dexter on June 14, 1958, in Davenport.
Survivors include her sons, Tony Dexter and John (Denise) Dexter, all of Princeton, and Steve (Jamie) Dexter, Eldridge; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Evelyn (Earl) Gullion, Davenport.
Memorials may be made to the Princeton Volunteer Fire Department or to Scott County 4-H.
