Dale Ganzer, 83, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Funeral Services were Saturday, March 27, at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park. He was born March 24, 1937, in Dixon to Henry and Hazel (Goodell) Ganzer. He married Dorothy Fanning on April 6, 1963, in Argo.
Dale retired from Farmers Elevator/River Valley Co-Op after 37 years as a grain handler. He served in the Army. Dale enjoyed a good bourbon and loved trying new ones.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dorothy; son, Brian (Terri) Ganzer of Unionville, Mo.; daughter, Gail (Mal) Underwood of Highland Lake, Ala.; grandchildren, Ryan (Alley) Barnett, Spencer Barnett, Wyatt Barnett, and Devin Ganzer; great-grandchildren, Ava and Axton; brother, Devere; and sisters, Phoebe and Rosemary.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and three sisters.
