Jack Wold of rural Donahue will celebrate his 80th birthday on Sept. 9.
Mr. Wold was born Sept. 9, 1940, in Hillsboro, Wis. He and his wife Cindy were married June 24, 1961, in DeWitt.
He was employed by Petersen Plumbing and Heating in Davenport, retiring in 2004. He enjoys tractors, mostly Olivers.
He is the father of Julie (Troy) Thornburg of Donahue, and the late John Wold, who died in 2006.
His grandchildren are Kayla Wold and the late Justin Wold, who died in 2007. He has one great-grandchild.
