Krista Hemphill, of Altoona, and Geoff Nitzschke, of Maple Grove, Minn., were united in marriage on June 11, 2022, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Bettendorf, with the Rev. Keith Piotter officiating. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Skellington Manor in Rock Island.
Parents of the couple are Rich and Mary Hemphill of rural Davenport, and Jim and Becky Nitzschke of Bettendorf.
Krista graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in elementary education and is currently employed as a Title I teacher at St. Joseph’s Catholic School.
Geoff graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and Drake University with degrees in accounting and finance, respectively. He is employed at 3M Headquarters in Maplewood, Minn., as a senior financial analyst.
Following a honeymoon trip to Greece, Geoff and Krista have settled into their new home in Cottage Grove, Minn.
