Bill and Virginia Haycraft of Eldridge will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on April 23.
Virginia Pescitelli and Bill Haycraft were married April 23, 1955, in Riverton, Ill.
Bill worked for many years in the insurance business, followed by a successful stint building homes in the North Scott Community, and many may remember his days working part-time at Ace Hardware in Eldridge. Virginia was a homemaker until her children were grown and worked at Von Maur until retirement.
As loyal partners and best friends, Mr. and Mrs. Haycraft are the proud parents of Heather (Hany) Khoury of Rock Island, Jeff (Kelley) Haycraft of Hiawatha, Scott (Kim) Haycraft of Eldridge, Dave (Janet) Haycraft of Eldridge, and Randy (Jodi) Haycraft of LeClaire.
Their adored grandchildren are Hazel and Olive Khoury, Karen (John) Hammar, Jed (Hannah) Haycraft, Stephanie (Dan) Boeding, Briana (Bret) Bell, Shaun (Brooke) Haycraft, and Ben, Matt and Josh Haycraft. They have 14 amazing great-grandchildren.
