Hawley-Crittenden wedding held in Arizona

Victoria Jo Hawley of Phoenix, Ariz., and Freddie Crittenden III of St. Louis, Mo., were united in marriage April 10, 2022. The outdoor sunset garden wedding was held at the Farmhouse at Schnepf Farms, Queen Creek, Ariz.

Erin Dooley officiated the 6 p.m. service. Scripture readings were given by Precious Pierre, sister of the groom.

Alexandria Jo Hawley, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bride’s attendants were Royonah Marble, Morgan Granger, Ib Majekodunmi, Yemi Ajagbe, Michelle Vogds, and Channing Paulsen.

Jarrett Eaton served as best man. Groom’s attendants were Aaron Mallet, Antonio Reynolds, Jabari Butler, Amadou Gueye, Jotham Nixon, and James Krajenke.

Flower men were Spencer Adams and Ramon Sosa. Sam Hawley, Zack Warner and Kade Warner, cousins of the bride, served as ushers.

Wedding entertainment was provided by Chardae Cogshell, cousin of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a cocktail hour and dinner and dancing were also held at the Farmhouse at Schnepf Farms. Surprise reception music was provided by Freddie Crittenden, Ryan Bolton and Chevis Armstead.

Victoria is the daughter of John and Kimberly Jo Hawley of Eldridge, and the granddaughter of Larry and Jenny Joe Carney and Dr. D.C. and Argelia Hawley. She was graduated from North Scott High School and the University of Iowa with a B.A. in elementary education. She was later graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. She is employed as an attorney at Davis Miles McGuire Gardner PLLC in Phoenix. She is also the owner of torhawleycreative, a lifestyle photographer.

Freddie is the son of Fred and Dr. Cassandra Crittenden of Utica, Mich., and the grandson of Homer and Jessiephine Crittenden, Geraldine Meeks and Calvin Wallace Sr. He was graduated from Utica High School, Utica, Mich., and received a B.A. in public health from Syracuse University. He is a professional track athlete in the 110m hurdles, and is employed as program director at G Road, an inner-city non-profit outreach organization for youth.

The couple enjoyed 10 days in Costa Rica in September.

They reside in Phoenix.
