Dale A. Younkin, 83, of Davenport, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dale Younkin was born Dec. 17, 1936, in Davenport, the son of Rene and Cirreta Younkin.
He married Doris Block on Dec. 26, 1959, in Grand Mound. He later married Marsha Taggart on Oct. 6, 1973, in Rock Island.
Survivors include a daughter, Laurie Erdes, St. Germain, Wis.; his sons, Kurtis (Debbie) Younkin, Ames, and Kenton (Sheila) Younkin, Lafayette, Colo.; six grandchildren; a sister, Cherilyn (Chris) Mueller, The Villages, Fla.; a brother, Francis (Patricia) Younkin, Park View; and a sister-in-law, Elva Younkin, Medford, Ore.
