He celebrates Feb. 27.
Vis worked with thousands of North Scott kids over his 27 years as a high school counselor. He retired in 1994, and enjoyed golf and jogging many years. He remains a daily visitor to the Eldridge fitness center.
He was active in the Lions Club. He and wife, Rita, are members of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. They are the parents of Traci, who passed in 2015, son Mike, and daughter Lisa (Dave) Engler; and have eight grandchildren and one great-grand child.
