Posted

The public is invited to attend an information meeting on Wednesday, June 19 between 5 and 7 p.m. at the North Cedar High School gymnasium, 400 Ball St., Clarence. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the U.S. 30 Planning Study, from just east of Lisbon to just west of DeWitt, and to gather public feedback on the materials presented, which include the preliminary road profiles, potential corridor limits and economic analysis along the corridor.

Findings from this study will guide future environmental considerations and design improvements in the coming years. An introductory video explaining the purpose and initial studies completed for the U.S. 30 Planning Study was released on April 3 and is still available for view at www.iowadot.gov/pim.

All interested persons are invited to attend. The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the planning study. No formal presentation will be made.

The meeting room is accessible for persons with disabilities. More information is available on the Iowa DOT’s website at www.iowadot.gov/pim. The website is periodically updated as new information becomes available.Du Comments and questions concerning the proposed project should be received by July 10 and can be submitted online at www.bit.ly/US30PEL.
