Harley and Sharon Steinke of Tipton will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family weekend in the Des Moines area.
Sharon Schmidt and Harley Steinke were married July 26, 1959 at Spangler Chapel United Methodist Church in Muscatine.
They have two daughters: Shonna (Jim) Becker of Tipton and Sheila (Brad) Pinnell of Iowa City. They have six grandchildren: Sarah (Delwyn) Borntrager; Mark Becker (fiancé Mackenzie Clayton); Luke Becker; Christian Pinnell; Caitlin Pinnell and Isaac Pinnell.
The family weekend will also include the celebration of the retirements of Steinkes’ daughters and their grandchildren’s college and high school graduations.
