Dean Stecher of Stockton will be honored with an open house for his 70th birthday on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Durant American Legion. All friends and family are welcomed to attend. No gifts, please.
Dean was born on Nov. 9, 1948 in Muscatine. He married Pamela Korthaus in 1978. Dean has farmed all of his life in Muscatine County.
His children are Tracy (Ronnie) Woods of Mt. Morris, Illinois and Jessica (Dustin) Marolf of Tipton. He has four grandchildren.
