Marshall Ochiltree, of Boy Scout Troop 151 in Wilton, has achieved the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout. Marshall has earned 74 merit badges during his 10-year Scouting career. He has held such leadership positions as Senior Patrol Leader and Quartermaster within his troop.
Marshall’s Eagle Scout project to serve his community was to landscape the intersection of Highway 6 and West Fifth Street in Wilton. He worked with 18 others to remove unwanted foliage including ash trees and bushes. He also planted pine trees, mulched and fixed electrical boxes between June 13 and Nov. 25, 2017.
Marshall is the son of Rod and Kirstie Ochiltree of Wilton and a sophomore at Wilton High School where he maintains a 3.82 grade point average.
