Patricia J. “Pat” Herman, 83, of Washington, Iowa, died Thursday, Oct. 19 at McReedy Home in Washington.
Private family burial will be held in the Durant Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed toward the McCreedy Home in Washington or Hospice Compassus of Washington.

Pat was born in Muscatine County, the daughter of Arthur and Clara Fay Meyer Timmsen. She graduated from Durant High School in 1951.
Pat was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sigourney.
Survivors include her sons, Douglas Dietz of Washington and Neal (Cathy) Dietz of Ames; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Delores (Rob) Meineke and Barbara (Delmar) Frick both of Durant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Wayne and daughter-in-law Debbie Dietz.
