Merideth Nichols of Nichols and Brogan Schanz of Amana are engaged and will exchange wedding vows on Aug. 4 at 6 p.m. at the Cedar County Fairgrounds in Tipton. A reception will follow at 7 p.m. at the same location.
Merideth is the daughter of Tim and Kris Nichols of Nichols. She graduated cum laude from Iowa State University and is employed at Washington Community School District.
Brogan is the son of Mike and Michelle Schanz of Amana. He will graduate in May from Iowa State University with a degree in forestry and a focus in resource ecosystem management. Brogan is employed at Amana Farms, Forestry Division.
