Margaret Thurston will be celebrating her 90th birthday on Saturday, April 13 from 1 until 3 p.m. at Simpson Memorial Home in the Melick Room. Everyone is invited to visit and wish her a happy birthday.
Margaret (Grunder) is the daughter of John and Selma (Fischer) Grunder. She married the late Fred Thurston. Their children are: Connie Knouse, Jim Thurston and Joanne Wells. Margaret has five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
She is a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Wilton. She has been a lifelong member of the Wilton community and was very involved in the American Legion Auxilary until her health deteriorated in 2015 and she moved to Heath Manor in West Liberty. Margaret recently broke her hip and is in rehabilitation at Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty.
