Dave and Jeanne Happ will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a family dinner. Jeanne A. Kerper and David A. Happ were united in marriage on Feb. 10, 1968 at St. Joseph Church in Greeley, Iowa.
The couple owned and operated Happ Feed Inc. in Durant for 34 years. After retiring from the feed business, Dave started Happ Trucking while Jeanne works part-time for Central City Electric.
Dave and Jeanne have three children: the late Jennifer Lynn Happ, Nicholas (Kristal) Happ of Durant and Andrew (Anna) Happ of Polk City.
They have six grandchildren: Hannah, Ally, Addison, Paige, Aubrey and Archer.
